EXPLODERは、「WHEN THE SUN EXPLODES」のゲイン回路を大幅に拡張・改良したモデルです。ペダルボードに組み込みやすいスタンドアロン型の筐体に収められ、トーンのカスタマイズオプションが飛躍的に増えたフルレンジのディストーション・デバイスです。
ゲイン回路は、1000倍のゲイン増幅を誇る3段階切り替え可能なハードクリッピング・プリアンプであり、その出力はアクティブ3バンドEQを備えたポストアンプへと送られます。このポストアンプにより、全周波数帯域にわたって信号を成形・彫刻することができ、荒々しいアンプのようなオーバードライブから、破壊的なファズ・トーンまで、あらゆるサウンドを実現します。
エンベロープ制御式のホワイトノイズジェネレーター（アナログシンセサイザーで一般的に使用されるもの）を信号にブレンドすることができ、楽器の信号に合わせてオン／オフを切り替えることで、カセットテープのヒスノイズ、途切れ途切れのラジオ放送、雨音、あるいは圧倒的なほど過酷なノイズの波といったローファイなサウンドを加えることができます！

MODE
Sym: Even hard-clipping, which gets very compressed and fuzzy at high gain levels
Off: Diode clipping is removed, the distortion heard is the op-amps overloading far beyond its limits. (Warning: will produce buzzing, noise, and potentially harmful amp exploding levels of gain)
Asym: Uneven hard-clipping, harsh and nasally, a mixture between symmetrical and no clipping
CONTROLS
Gain: Turn up for distortion
Master: Output volume control
Low, Mid, Hi: Clean 3 band active EQ - mid point is unity. BOOST or CUT the frequency, (fully-cut is zero and no audio passes between this frequency band)
W/N: Volume of white noise generator
Tone: Hi-pass filter tone control for white noise generator
Env: Envelope amount for the white noise generator
